Although it looks like coffee, it is not necessarily so.
The best cocoa in the world is grown in my father's hometown. Although many towns take this title, it is Chuao, on the coast of the Aragua State, Venezuela, where the best cocoa there is grown: organic, handcrafted grown and simply delicious. So since I was a child I got used to drinking this infusion. Not chocolate as we know it: milk, cocoa, water and sugar. But the infusion of cocoa with brown sugar. Little drops of cocoa butter slide down the sides of the cup, and my body seems to come alive. I love cocoa and so I drink it. I like to mix it with coffee, and I've tried it with pepper, with a very strong flavor.
But the truth is that even if it is coffee or cocoa, a hot drink always recharges the body, energy and soul. This post is for all those who love coffee, cocoa, tea or any other infusion.

Aunque parece café, no lo es necesariamente.
En el pueblo de origen de mi padre se cultiva el mejor cacao del mundo. Aunque muchos pueblos de atribuyen esté título, es Chuao, en la costa del Estado Aragua, Venezuela, donde se cultiva el mejor cacao que hay: orgánico, de cultivo artesanal y sencillamente delicioso. Así que desde niña me acostumbré a beber esta infusión. No el chocolate como lo conocemos: leche, cacao, agua y azúcar. Sino la infusión de cacao con papelón. Las pequeñas gotas de la manteca del cacao se deslizan a los lados de la taza, y mi cuerpo parece tomar vida. Yo amo el cacao y así lo tomo. Desde hace un tiempo me gusta mezclarlo con café, y lo he probado con pimienta, un sabor bastante fuerte.
Pero lo cierto es que aunque sea café o cacao, una bebida caliente siempre recarga el cuerpo, las energías y el alma. Este post va para todos aquellos que aman el café, el cacao, el té o cualquier otra infusión.
