I declare myself in love with comics.

Not only of the comic books but also of the graphic novel.
Since I discovered this genre, full of emotion, as well as written literature, I have tirelessly searched for works that cause me visual pleasure.

Thus I have found some better than others, with much aesthetic value and equal narrative value.

Lately I have been practicing different styles, this as a way of defining my own style, and maybe one day I will undertake the journey of visual narration, which I consider my destiny.

Here I share a character design made digitally with a technique of digital watercolors, but with the purpose of having a true aspect of sketch.

Process

First. I drew the character with a digital brush predetermined in Photoshop, I set the brush adjustments in brush dynamics and wet edges. This gives it a watercolor brush aspect.

I started painting the eyes, using a light peach color for darker areas of the skin and a greenish brown for the iris.

I painting the darkest areas and added some with shine in lios. In the neck, I alse used a very light blue in multiply mode for the shadow.

I painted only the shadowed parts of the hair, and let the rest without color. As well as the skin, light spaces are colorless because of the light.

I hope you enjoy it.
