Last September 2022, our water supply suddenly stopped. Maybe because of hard rain, we conclude that some are or lines collapse.
We survey the lines from the lower area up to the jungle where the source is located. Then we found out that one of these supports was destroyed long before and the wood that used to be a temporary support was already decaying and collapsing.
We took out the union and improvised a temporary coupling, a 3" PVC pipe diy hubbed. It was heated to form a hub.
Then a motorcycle interior was cut and made rubber, wrapped around the area to stop the leaking. It was supported that a tie wire also to longer its life span before we can replace it with sleeve type coupling which we don't have at the moment.
This temporary method of repair can last longer than a year. We hope by that time, we can afford to buy a sleeve type coupling for a longer life span. Also, we plan to build concrete support as soon as possible.
