Lake Tekapo is a stunning place in the southern island of New Zealand. One of the best places on earth for stargazing since they have there a very dark sky. For me, it was the first time I was able to see the Milky Way and it was incredible.
So if you are in New Zealand you have no excuse to not go to Lake Tekapo, you can take a splash in the lake during the day and stargaze at night!
