Peace be upon you!

I was just sitting and thinking about how fast life flies by.

Looking back at the moments behind us, it feels like just yesterday. And when you look even further back, those too feel like they happened in a blink. Just like that, watching time pass by, so many tasks, so many colors, and so many memorable moments slip away.
The last two days also passed by in a similar hustle and bustle.
In my previous post, I shared my routine about the day before yesterday, but I missed mentioning the England and Sri Lanka match. Alhamdulillah, we thoroughly enjoyed that match too. To sum it up briefly, Sri Lanka was going to play the final against Pakistan anyway, and England had already been knocked out, but we still enjoyed every bit of the game.

What a game it was! Until the 25th over, England didn't lose a single wicket—their opening partnership is just incredible. However, Sri Lanka brought the game really close.

But Sri Lanka ended up losing it right at that crucial point where Shan and T-O-C got out, and U-LL-A-H got run out. The Man of the Match was Ben Duckett, who played a fantastic knock of 167 runs off 132 balls.
Even though England had already been eliminated from the tri-series and there was no big final-match pressure, believe me, the cricket was so brilliant that watching it was an absolute delight.

I sat back comfortably and enjoyed the entire match. When teams play freely without worrying about winning or losing, the fun is entirely different, and we saw that exact spirit in this match. Matches like these prove once again that this sport is the best way to connect hearts and cure anyone's boredom.
On that same day, the Easypaisa advertising team came over to install their boards. They had taken the measurements a few days ago. Because this company rewards shopkeepers who give them a good response and strong business performance by setting up advertisements for them, it keeps us motivated to work with enthusiasm. So, they came and installed the board right here at my shop.

They had also taken measurements for branding stickers and told me that those would arrive in a few days.
The whole point of putting up these boards is to give the shop a neat, attractive look and make it easy for customers to spot from a distance that Easypaisa services are available here.
Then came yesterday—the blessed day of Jummah.
I woke up in the morning, took a bath, put on clean new clothes, and reached the mosque by one o'clock. After getting there, I offered the Sunnah prayers, listened to the Khutbah (sermon), and recited Durood Sharif on our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as much as possible. Sitting inside the mosque always brings a strange kind of peace and coolness to the heart.
However, I made a major mistake yesterday. As we all know, reciting Surah Al-Kahf on Friday holds immense virtues. I actually remembered it too, but Shaytan whispered that I would read it in a little while, and after that, it completely slipped my mind.
