"If you could meet your younger self, what would you say ?"
The prompt for this week is for lecturing my younger self about life's adventure and how much of experience i have gathered from life by now.
This is both as an advice and teaching or training. Seeing my younger self, I will love her, embrace her, take good care of her, we shall talk about many things and laugh loud and lauder because I'm so excited seeing her after growing up since many years ago.
I will teach her or train my younger self to be resilient in business, respectful to others and be straight forward in dealing with her fellow human beings. I will teach or instruct her to be very kind to others, but don't be taken for granted, know when to be kind, when not to be and when to totally stop. So that negative people will not robbish you and your future.
Be truthful so as to gain the respect and trust of others, but be strict with decision making, no pampering of anyone. Always know who's doing what. Be very reasonable, try learning some new things daily from others, it helps anytime.
I will advise my younger self to Pick few quality friends because people know who you really are by the type of friends you have or you keep, create strong boundaries against all forms of negativities. I will let my younger self to know that life of course is not a bed of roses.
Make some quality decisions about yourself and whatsoever you have determined to do per time. Never you do drug related offences in order not to be turned into drug addicts, stay out of trouble, it's a horrible state of life, troubles and drugs hooks and destroys quality lives. Don't dare...!
I will advise my younger self, never join those hook up girls, they can never be your friends, even while in school as a student, learn and have some skills to keep you both busy while making some profits too.
Live a life of never a dull moment life pattern. Constantly being grateful for whatever you have because many others are desiring to be you, or to be at whatever level and phase of life you are occupying right now, be grateful...! Knowing that life is in levels and people are in phases.
"ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY"
Too many obstacles have positioned themselves waiting for everyone not only you, whenever you meet obstacles on your way, never give up, find the solutions and keep moving, don't give up, don't be afraid either, you will still find your way like oceans or the flowing water that will always find it's way and can never be stopped or hindered.
Be very articulated and intentional about whatever your hands finds to do. Put up a serious and a strong interests about seeking and knowing the Almighty God the maker of heaven and earth. He keeps a life and can also allows people to die. Serve him, know him and love him so you too can live and be satisfied in life and about life.
Wisdom, intentionality, focus, being independent, being coordinated having some quality and durable skills and many more are the most necessary information/ ingredients of life my younger self need to have to be established properly in life.
I will tell my younger self that nothing of value is free, hard work pays, hard work gives confidence, hard work generates boldness that rewards you into a self relying individual, therefore making you capable of occupying a quality and profitable high positions in life.
I will encourage my younger self to be patience in life and about life itself.... Many times a well designed and mapped out plans of activities may fall, or may still go wrong, you can make some or so many mistakes in life but don't quit, try again and again... Sometimes, the answers to what you're looking for are hidden under the mistakes you might have been making in life. Until you find it, don't quit.
