I decided to submit some macro shots for the #monomad contest hosted by 
So I chose the Neoscona spider, also known as the spotted orb-weaver, for this round of the #monomad challenge.
The spider was there on the grass when the picture was taken.
This spider is quite calm in its position, as opposed to jumping spiders that often overwhelm you. This gives you several opportunities to take pictures from any angle you like. Additionally, I enjoy this split-tone look.
All of the images here are my own work, taken with Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
