After making prototypes and testing, my chopstick-making jig is now complete!
Last weekend I tested it for the first time at a makers festival in Chemnitz. About 50 people joined the workshop, and together we turned cherry wood into handmade chopsticks. It was wonderful to see children and adults enjoying the process and leaving with their own pair of chopsticks.

Of course, I also found things to improve. One part of the jig broke after the long day, so I'll reinforce the design or prepare spare parts for the next workshop. That's exactly why I love testing ideas with real people and learn something.
I also designed small chopstick helpers with the festival's logo. They were also well received.
Now the jig is no longer just a prototype. It's a tool that can serve for many people! I'm so happy about it and looking forward the next workshop after summer holidays.
Maybe we should make our own chopsticks together at the next
