Seed shortage? / タネが売り切れてる

I was surprise to see seeds were quite well sold out at a supermarket today 😵I read in some countries people rush to seeds. Is it coming to Germany too?

But even less than 10 people are infected by COVID-19 a day in Leipzig with 700 thousands citizens? Or they were accidentally sold out? Seems my favorite seed store still has availability. So it can be just a matter of timing.

I felt as if I were rich with my seed collection ... I'm happy to share them with others as I'll have seeds for next year from plants in the garden. I like this sharing aspect of gardening 😊

今日はスーパーに寄ったら種の棚がすごいことになっていました。えええ、街のの一日の感染者数70万人いる中で5人とかなのに・・・第二波はあるかもしれないけれど、食料危機になるかというと、多分ドイツは向こう数ヶ月はそこまで深刻ではないはず。イタリア・スペインからの野菜が途絶えても夏はドイツ産のものが出回るので。

単なる偶然だったのかな、私が普段注文する種苗会社は普通に注文を受け付けているのでタイミングの問題かもしれません。

家に帰って種袋の入ったビルケンシュトックのサンダルの箱を見て、ちょっとリッチな気分になりました。でも来年の分はうまくいけば庭の植物からとれるし、身の回りでほしいという人がいれば分けようと思います。こういう分け合えるところ、園芸のよいところですよね。
