Over the past week I have been preparing to apply for an art festival/competition. The work I submitted was "Knitting with Computer", which I was working in Linz last month.
It is a project to let a computer program learn knitting patterns and generate new ones.
I framed a large piece my computer and I made.
I forgot to buy a paper to attach the piece firmly with threads ..... As my daughter have cold since last weekend so I attached the piece with scotch tape (secret).
It is more beautiful when it is in the frame with more tensions like shown in the photo below. That's life. I will work on it in the next days.
Overall I enjoyed the process to present the work. It was a kind of meditation. I could develop some new ideas :)
I hope I have a chance to show case my work at the festival in the end of summer. Anyways, good that I tried.
I take rest today by spending easy going day with my daughter for her recovery.
