I was surprised to see Ripple price this morning around 7am (CET). It was $0.75+. Then it gradually dropped to $0.56 in next 4-5 hours. It means around 25% drop.
CET 7:00 is JST (Japan Standard Time) 15:00. CET 12:00 is JST 20:00. I started thinking about a scenario on my way back from weekly market.
As I see crypto field since 2016, Ripple is preferred in Japan (I'm not much fan of it though). I think it's the same in South Korea. I saw JPY/XRP and KRW/XRP pair on Coinmarket Cap ranking. It was a dejavu of 2017 ;)
My guess is: Ripple was bought strongly during Asian day time and then Europeans started harvesting the gain or took short position to it? Or did Asian market participants close their position in the end of the day?
I'm not interested in Ripple as it's not decentralized but this phenomena is interesting. I keep my eyes on it.
I wish more and more people come back and jump in to Hive soon!
今朝起きて、ドイツ時間7:00に仮想通貨の相場を見たらRippleがえらいことになっていました。そのあと76セントから58セントまで25%近く、4時間ちょっとかけて落ちて行きました・・・。こわ。
ドイツ時間07:00は日本時間15:00、ドイツ時間12:00は日本時間20:00、日本時間というかアジア時間で高騰したところをヨーロッパが刈り取ったように見える、もしくはショートされまくった・・・といったら憶測でしょうか。日本時間の最後に利益確定売りがあったのかもしれないけれど。仮想通貨に入ってきたばっかりだと損切りしてしまう人もいるのかな。かわいそう。
Rippleという通貨事態には興味はないですが、この現象はおもしろいので明日も観察してみようと思います。今日はBitcoinが200万円を突破して、明日も新しい人たちまだまだ入ってきそうだし。今口座開設組は多分来週だろうし。こういうの既視感があるなあ・・・
そんなことを考えたマーケットの帰り道。地元のお母ちゃんたちの井戸端会議スタンドで牛蒡もどきを売っていたのでたくさん衝動買いしてしまいました。
