Today I present you my digital artwork which I call "inner Duality".
But why inner duality if on this Pic is a man and woman?
We all have a masculine and feminine side, which this two characters represents.
The bound state should reflect how this both sides of our inner world are connected and the bondage shows the matter itself.
Likewise, this bondage can indicate that we as humans have yet to learn to "unleash" our true selves.
If you look closer you can see both figures in yogic exercises. The male figure is in the child position, representing the inner child, and the feminine figure is in a half wheel position, representing the general flexible mindset as well as the heart Chakra.
In the background you can see a pyramid with the well-known all seeing eye, which I have used as a sign of the outer manipulations. That what one shows or wants to show outwardly.
Perhaps one can recognize by the hovering similar condition of the two that these are in the water. The element water should show here among other things. The emotional world and that we humans consist largely of this element.
The colorful hair I just decided so, I simply found it dope.
Basically, I have here various ancient mythologies, cultures and knowledge tried to accommodate in a very individual artwork. This on my personal comic-like drawing style. Whether I succeeded is in the "eye" of the watcher (wonderful pun when you think of the eye in the pyramid... )
I have drawn it on my XP-Pen Board, used Adobe Fresco and after Photoshop.
I was really concentrated so I forgot a bit about taking all step by steps, have only done some. Please forgive that. After creating the artwork I animated it.
