Today I present you a drawing (after scanned it and worked on it digital, editing, coloring... All that) of a "Demon Cat"
But wait, today I even have a story (a legend) to my drawing... Wanna know it?

The legend of the vampire cat
Yup, read that right, a vampire cat. I heard that legend from a friend. And what else is better to have a story to a drawing? So, the story goes like this... Once upon a time... Far far away... There was a prince...
O Toyo, who was once the favorite lady of Prince Nabeshima, was haunted by a bakeneko (cat demon) and had trouble to fall asleep or sleep at all. One night, when she woke up from a horrible nightmare, the young lady was attacked by a huge cat. The cat killed the young lady and at the same time took the form of the victim, like a kind of shape-shifter, because it wanted to seduce the prince (don't ask me why specifically the prince, the story goes like that).
The prince, in turn, was dazzled by the beauty of the (fake) O Toyo, so Nabeshima had not noticed any change in her, he did not checked anything. The prince just loved to spend time with his beauty.
A little later, some time has passed, the prince became very ill, and although many healers and doctors came, none of the experts could find the reason for the prince's ailment. Likewise, his nightmares now began and the prince woke up every morning weaker and weaker until he lost his mind.
To see why this was the case, guards would be positioned every night to watch over Prince Nabeshima. Strangely enough, none of the guards could resist sleep, yup, they all used to fall asleep themselves.
But at some point among the guards was a young soldier named Itô Sôda, who took his task of protecting the prince especially serious.
When all the guards, who were supposed to guard the prince as usual, had fallen asleep again, Itô Sôda stabbed himself in the knee with his dagger to resist the tiredness. The young guard was able to defy sleep through the pain. Thus he saw the false O Toyo enter the prince's room. He quickly realized that the pretty woman was in fact a vampire who fed on the blood of Prince Nabeshima.
In itself, there are two endings to the story. In one, the demon cat was caught, and also quickly executed. It is said that after her death the young woman turned into a big black cat.
Another ending says that she escaped and went on a rampage in the woods and mountains.
