Have you ever offered help or an advice without knowing exactly the kind of assistance they need?

You probably saw them struggling with something or even heard them say something that you thought you heard or you thought they were talking to you.

What i think, it is always good to understand or communicate your need or the needs of others before offering help or assistance.

Imagine helping someone get a box up because you thought they want assistance to get it up when they actually wanted it down. Just imagine that!

You like offering help or advice but end up making a disaster or looking stupid because no one asked you or you have no understanding of what is needed.

Do this

To offer best help, you need to ask questions, rephrase answers given according to your understanding and take a conscious step to reflect on the best solution.

What other ideas can you add to mine for better understanding of the needs of other or better ways to communicate your needs?
