After this particular commissioned piece (which was a set of 3 paintings) I can certainly say that sometimes you can feel exhausted even by things you are most passionate about. I mean you could be the most passionate creature on the planet but there can be days where you feel drained because of it. For me that is art obviously and I felt a little bit like that today. I enjoyed these paintings thoroughly but by the time I reached the last one, I felt myself hesitant to do some parts of it. And I didn’t like feeling that way. I never do..especially when it is being made for somebody else!

Naturally I kept making mistakes and the day over all was very clumsy. I kept losing interest and even the smallest of things like accidentally dropping a brush made me wanna cry. But I also quickly realized that not every day has to be happy & full of sunshine and rainbows. Some days you are JUST NOT THERE mentally/ physically and it is okay.

Of course I had guilt wash over me that how could I be feeling like this for something I could move mountains for? But I was and it’s fine. I do have some days in a year where I just don’t like picking up my art supplies. And sometimes it does take me almost a week to feel that desire to paint but when I do come back, it’s only because I want to not cause I have to :)

Anyway, this one was kinda challenging given my “wrecked self” today lol but nevertheless I liked doing the set over all! The one awesome thing that happened today was we rescued a baby sparrow couple of times but that is a story for some other day! 😊

Let me know what you guys think. I love to hear from you! 🧡
