Fire! fire! burn me up
Consume my insides
Renew me from my decay
It's getting cold in here
Ignite my passions from deep within
Lick the calm waters of my soul
With my heart on fire‎
Hide me among the pyre‎
And let my temperature rise‎
Till I am flesh no more
Away with the rot
Painful it is
But it must be done ‎
Am like a gold yet to be purified
A diamond yet to withstand the pressure
This is my crucible ‎
And from my ashes
I will arise and soar higher than eagles
With a new flesh and bones
My feathers are bright
My wings are stronger
I die only to be born again.
