Probándome outfits para mi cumpleaños - TBT / Trying on outfits for my birthday - TBT (ESP-ENG)

Hola criaturas de octubre, por aquí les traigo una selección de imágenes de las muchas que me tomé en una sesión fashionista nocturna donde justo me probaba atuendos que tenía en mente para mi cumpleaños del año pasado (2025)

Disculpen que no publique esto en un jueves como debería, pero es que los días me pasan y siento que las horas no me bastan, jejej. Quizás hoy no es jueves, pero lo fue hace unos días o lo será pronto jajaja.

Ahora sí, comencemos con el post…

Primero quiero comentarles qué planes tenía para mi cumpleaños para saber por qué me probé los outfits que me probé, que, como pueden ver, son de distintos tipos que quizás no se compaginan entre sí.

Para mi cumpleaños que cayó en un día de semana (un jueves casualmente) tenía pensado salir un rato durante el día, incluso quería pedir el día en el trabajo y pasear, hacer unas compras, etc, por ende quería ponerme algo cómodo pero muy yo para ello se me ocurrió lo del vestido, combinado con diferentes complementos y también el outfit de la falda y la camisa que recientemente había adquirido (fotos 1 a 6)

Por otro lado, también estaba la picada de torta con la familia, y eso, aunque no era una fiesta ni era fin de semana, igual me quería vestir genial. Tenía en mente ya ese vestido que pueden ver en la fotos 7 y 9, que en realidad es una falda ajustada con un arnés que quería usar hace tiempo, la cual a mi parecer se ve genial y también queda muy bien combinada con ese sobretodo de encaje que se puede usar de día.

Y como último, fotos 9 a 12, estaba barajando una fiesta temática retro y tenía pensado cómo hacer un outfit medio retro pero medio formal, que como pueden ver fue el que usé en mi cumple (fotos aquí y aquí)

Al final, solo usé el retro y el de la falda transformada porque ese día trabajé mucho y no salí, solo me reuní con mi familia en la noche para picar mi tortica.

Adicionalmente, hay algunas fotos que me gustaron, pero no pude subirlas por el límite de fotos de Liketu, así que las subiré en una rápida segunda parte. Espero que les haya gustado este recuento de atuendos. A mí sí me encantó, y es que probarme outfits que se me ocurren es una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer por las noches, y ya hace bastante que no tengo mucho chance de hacerlo. Me agrada compartirlo con ustedes.

Hi, October folks! Here’s a selection of photos from the many I took during a nighttime fashion shoot where I was trying on outfits I’d had in mind for my birthday last year (2025).

Sorry I’m not posting this on a Thursday like I should, but the days just fly by and I feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day, hehe. Maybe today isn’t Thursday, but it was a few days ago or it will be soon, hahaha.

Now then, let’s get started with the post…

First, I want to tell you about my plans for my birthday so you’ll understand why I tried on the outfits I did—which, as you can see, are all different styles that might not go together.

Since my birthday fell on a weekday (a Thursday, as it happened), I was planning to go out for a bit during the day—I even wanted to take the day off work to go for a walk, do some shopping, and so on. So I wanted to wear something comfortable but very “me.” That’s why I came up with the dress, paired with different accessories, as well as the skirt-and-blouse outfit I’d recently bought (photos 1 through 6)

On the other hand, there was also the cake party with the family, and even though it wasn’t a party or the weekend, I still wanted to dress up. I already had in mind that dress you can see in photos 7 and 9—which is actually a fitted skirt with a harness that I’d been wanting to wear for a while—and I think it looks great and pairs really well with that lace overcoat that’s perfect for daytime wear.

And finally, in photos 9 through 12, I was considering a retro-themed party and had been thinking about how to put together an outfit that was sort of retro but also sort of formal—which, as you can see, is what I ended up wearing on my birthday (photos here and here).

In the end, I only wore the retro outfit and the one with the transformed skirt because I worked a lot that day and didn’t go out; I just got together with my family in the evening to have a slice of my little cake.

Also, there are a few photos I liked, but I couldn't upload them because of Liketu's photo limit, so I'll post them in a quick second part. I definitely loved it—trying on outfits I come up with is one of my favorite things to do at night, and I haven’t had much of a chance to do it in a while. I enjoy sharing it with you all.
