Padahal, kalau kita baca analisa pakar, banyak yang menyebutkan BTC makin lama makin tinggi karena makin langka. Tidak heran, BTC kemudian melahirkan beberapa turunannya.
Ternyata analisis itu tidak atau belum terjadi. Malah harga semua jenis mata uang kripto jatuh. Meski terpuruk, banyak juga yang masih optimis tentang masa depan mata uang kripto karena beberapa keunggulannya yang tidak dimiliki mata uang fiat.
Anjloknya cryptocurrency juga menimpa Steem dan Steem Dollar (SBD). Meski bukan yang terendah sejak peluncurannya, banyak Steemian yang semakin tidak bersemangat melakukan soft mining dengan postingan dan kurasi di Steemit.
Rendahnya harga Steem dan SBD menimbulkan beberapa reaksi di kalangan Steemians. Ada yang tetap melakukan postingan seperti biasa, tidak terpengaruh dengan berapa pun nilai postingan. Perilaku seperti ini mudah dijumpai di mana saja dalam berbagai grup WA. Tidak perlu mengeluh dan bereaksi apa pun terhadap orang seperti itu. Kalaupun harus bereaksi, tetaplah semangat dan tidak terganggu sedikit pun dengan stigma tertentu. Anggap saja itu pujian dari orang yang tidak menyukai kita, tetapi mengorbankan waktu, pikiran, dan tenaga untuk memikirkan kita. Bukankah itu sebagai bukti kita ini lebih hebat dari mereka?
