Weekends are for resting, or so they say, hehehe, but lately my weekends are for doing everything but that; there's always something to do, and it's not so bad, since we can manage it: daily household chores. Normally, I always do laundry on Saturdays, clean the house, and go grocery shopping; I try to shop in the morning so I'm not caught off guard by the blazing sun we always have where we live. So the first thing I did was have some coffee and go downtown. I bought some vegetables, rice, beans, protein, and bananas. I had a lot of calories, and to relax after a somewhat complicated week, we had a beer at a place called El Encuentro. The place is very nice and pleasant; the only thing it's missing is air conditioning. However, I like it. They play all kinds of music, and the prices are reasonable. Then we went home, and although we were hot from the sun and a bit heavy, we were grateful to be able to buy food, both for ourselves and our pets.
When I got home, I started cooking and chopped some tomatoes. There was cheese, so I made myself some bread with tomato and cheese and some fries; something super quick, since the sun had exhausted us. After lunch, I got a head start on Monday's work and thought about ideas for new content on Hive, trying to be more disciplined with my social media and find a balance between work, home, and social media. I took a nap to rest up and later that evening, I tidied up a bit and watched TV, mostly YouTube channels. That was my weekend.
