BIENVENIDO A MI RINCÓN
Hola, queridos lectores.
>Hello, dear readers. I hope you are doing well. Today I’m sharing a bit about my week; it’s already Wednesday, and the week is drawing to a close. Once we hit Wednesday, the work week is practically over. I started with a new company today, and it went well, thank God; I was able to secure several clients.
>Lately, I’ve been finding it really hard to get up—which is strange, since I’ve always been super active in that regard. I used to be an early riser and honestly functioned best in the mornings, but these days it’s been a real struggle to get up before 6:30. When I did get up, I didn't feel like having coffee or breakfast—another thing that’s very unlike me—but, well, people change. To be honest, I spent two days at my sister’s place and came back feeling a bit heavy in the stomach; maybe I drank too much coffee, or perhaps it’s the water—you get used to the water at home, or maybe I’m just turning into a fussy lady, hehehe.
>So I had a pineapple juice; it was delicious. I want to start drinking less coffee and having other things for breakfast, like oatmeal. It’s hard for me because I’m used to arepas, bread, or pastries, but oh well—you have to learn to mix things up.
>I headed out in the morning; the sky was quite gray. It had rained heavily overnight, so the weather was perfect when I went out to work—I didn't sweat, and I managed to complete my route quickly. I’d love to live somewhere without such intense heat. After finishing the route, I went to the Río supermarket; I really liked it. The products were quite affordable, and the vegetables looked great. The prices of the soft drinks caught my eye, but since I can't have any kind of soda, I prefer buying *papelón* and limes instead—hehe. I picked up a few things, including some canned meat for the girls; I hardly ever do that, but hey, once a year doesn't hurt. I served it to them with scrambled eggs. Pandora and Perla were delighted—and that’s saying something, since Perla doesn't usually eat much egg.
>When I arrived in my town, I went to buy a hen to keep the rooster company, but there weren't any. So, I took the truck and stopped by the bakery to buy some bread, then went to pick up Doggy to bring him home so he could eat. After eating, he lay down; he was enjoying the weather, too. I made some potatoes and a pork chop—that’s what I had for lunch, along with some rice—and well, friends, that was it.
Gracias por llegar al final
