A 10-year boy was sitting with his younger sister on the side of a road. His cheeks were all red and wet with tears. He was praying for something.
Their clothes had multiple holes and stitches, but they were quite clean. They caught the attraction of many people around them but the boy kept busy talking to God.
As he stood up some stranger asked him, "What were you praying for?".
The boy replied "Paradise for my dead father, Patience for my deprived mother, clothes for my unfortunate sister."
The stranger asked, "Do you go to school?"
The boy replied, “Yes, I do go to school."
The stranger asked, "In which class do you read?"
The boy replied, "No Sir, I do not study in the school. My mother makes me some sweets and I sell those in the school to earn some livelihood."
His words were pouring very deep into my soul.
The stranger unwillingly asked, "Do you have any relative to support you?"
The boy replied, "Sir, my mother is a very truthful lady and she tells us the poor have no relatives."
The boy cleared his shedding tears and said, "She only tells a lie, when I ask her about her meal and she replies that she has already eaten."
The stranger asked, "Would you study if somebody starts supporting your family?"
The boy firmly replied, "No Sir, absolutely not. Because all these educated people hate the poor. We have never been helped by them and I do not want to be among those."
The stranger was anxious and disturbed.
The boy said," These all people around you know our condition and situation but nobody bothers to step forward and help us, they are all busy with their own lives and their own agendas. They never put themselves in other's shoes. This cruel world is selfish Sir, this cruel world is selfish."

The conclusion of this story can easily be drawn but the actual task is to think about it, do something for it and share it so that the future becomes better than the past.
