Hello @ubani1, We love it when you write for the Ink Well. However, there is an issue with this story that you can easily resolve. The community has rules about violence, and this story pushes up against the boundaries. When the bullet is emptied into the head of Officer James, that becomes an act of ruthless murder. We don't condone that in the community.

Please edit out the unnecessary violence. You might have Agent Scully threaten, but never shoot. Or the gun might be empty. Come up with any creative solution you like, but this sort of violence is not suitable for the community. While you're reading over the story and coming up with a creative solution, you might want to edit it also for minor errors. For example, in this line:

The lights were off in my room, except my table lamp on,

I'm sure you meant to say, 'my table lamp was on'.

Editing the story for these minor errors would really make it shine.

Thank you for understanding that we have to hold everyone to the same community standards. People can get really carried away with violent stories so we have to screen all of them for this issue.
