I liked this story. You name a specific place that I can imagine as I read. Obowo village. To my Western ears this is exotic. Then there is a beast stalking not only animals in the forest, but domestic animals. Where is the hero who will save the village's food supply? You give us one, and you describe the action nicely. Kudos!
