The movie "A Man Called God" is a movie that will ever reflect in my head and I can't get tired of watching times without number because it encompasses the action scenes you would love, strategies and plots that makes sense a lot and now talking about the fact that this movie has been in existence like more than a decade ago and can still make me smile whenever I try to watch again or even now that I try to make a review makes it superb for me.
A Man Called God is a Korean movie released in 2010 and still remain relevant to sight and memory. A movie of revenge, love and betrayal.
A movie that stars capable actors who played their role like their lives depended on it out of which Micheal King/Peter Pan acted by Song II Gook remained my crush from the movie as the lead character.
Micheal King but known as Choi Kang Ta as his real childbirth name, was abandoned as a kid after his parents were brutally murdered by the so-called group of powerful people right in the presence of him and his sister of which led them to not grow up together.
Choi Kang-Ta then was raised as an assassin with the code name Micheal King, came back to Korean with his team to take revenge on those who murdered his parents since he could remember their faces so well.
The story is a very fantastic one as it's filled with different action scenes that makes it thrilling and exciting to watch with Peter Pan who is a man of few words but cold and deadly. Although a strong man will always have a soft place for a woman who's able to melt his heart and that was it with the chemistry between him and Dr. Seo Mi-soo acted by Han Go Run, who's unfortunately a daughter of one of the criminals in his list that he came home to hunt down.
The part that gets you worried from this movie as a first time watcher is seeing two bloodline siblings fighting for same cause but in different paths that can actually get one another killed. Micheal King's sister Choi Yoo-Jin acted by Han Go Eun, who is a detective and a cop is on the hunt for the group who murdered her parents but in a legal way while Micheal King is an elite assassin who's ready to bring them down in his way which is illegal so their paths keep crossing on same mission that could get them to hurt themselves which brings me to tears cos of the whole tension between them.
Mission was going well for Micheal King as he was even able to get more details and evidences through Mi-soo until his team started falling apart because of the selfish desire of Yoo Min-ji who had a one-sided love and crush on her boss, Micheal King, of which was leading no where especially when he now had eyes on Mi-soo.
It was really painful that she had to betray someone she had been working with for ages and is like a right hand to because of emotional conflicts and it's just so sad that it was too late by the time she realized and wanted to make amends.
I guess it's always true that no one betrays and go Scot free.
How will the journey of revenge that encountered love with one of the enemies daughter end? With every obstacle coming from the people he loves the most in his life.
A man called called God is a movie I'll stand to vote for times without number to be brought back to the screen times without number because it gave it all.
I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the movie review
