As Africans, it's been noticed that we always find it easy to adapt and admit things, even when it hurts us so bad, but why? We never can tell, it could be that, it's just our nature that we find it so easy to admit to those thing which even contributed to the hardship we are going through now, but the bitter truth is just that, even when many admits and keep quiet, the real Africans don't keep shut!
For as long as I can remember, the feeling of being inferior is peculiar to Africans, middle class, rich, super rich, poor, and paupers. This feeling of inferiorty has run far too deep, that to remove it would require deep sugery, well, not literaly.
When something happens to an African, he/she will either tell you, it's the way God (A supeme being) want's it, or has pre ordained it.
But as they say

I know many Africans reading this will be wondering who in heavens name is Adebayo Paul. Well, if you must know, he is an African, a Nigerian to be precise and loves writing.
That's part of what I'm trying to pull out here, had it been it was a name like let's say Diana kent, am sure many of us would find it sense making.
But all the same, going through the history of this great continent, we find out that there are people that resisted the norm, they stood for what they believed in, they made a choice and they sticked to it. These people didn't agree to the laid down principles, they made their light and that of Africa shine.
Here are a few of them
The first on the list is
Wangari Maathia
This is a woman that obviously knows her worth. She pursued development for africa women, she even once said
“African women in general need to know that it’s OK for them to be the way they are – to see the way they are as strength, and to be liberated from fear and silence.
Being the first woman to earn her doctoral degree in the whole of central Africa, you know there must be a drive that sustained her to that level.
There must be a driving force for you too, that makes you exceptional, that makes you change your history and that of you nation, continent and the world. Don't take this for granted, little things matter greatly. Maathia was an envorinmentalist that made sure she planted enough trees in kenya, but her major battle was for human rights and democracy.
Second on the list is a Nigerian that goes by the name
Chinua Achebe
Being a novelist, he tackeled colonalism and slavery through his novels. Authour of the book "Things fall apart", he painted the picture of changing the stories that had been potrayed by many western voices. But most of all, he sought to change the level of literature in Africa.
So you see, it doesn't matter what or who you are, what matters is what you can do, and believe me when I say that there is so much you can do, a wise friend of mine once told me that
To change anything on the outside, you must become the change on the inside. How the change will happen on the outside is not up to you. Your job is to radiate the change from the inside and the outside circumstances will change to reflect the change in you.

Let me give you a short story. There was once a smart young boy whose forefathers had been slaves all their lives, all the family members were either a valet, cook, maid, you get the picture, it was their family's business.
But this boy wanted to become something else, he wanted to be a musician, he wanted to sing for the world. But family won't allow because there was a family business to uphold, a family business to run.
The years went on, he sneaked out on occasions to play for his friends, sometimes he would get caught and be punished, but all these didn't stop him from pursuing his passion.
And today he is one of the world's famous musicians of all time. You can check him up on the net.
No matter who you are, no matter where you are from, forget the condition you are in, start the change from within, pursue your passion, believe in your dreams and I tell you
" The sky is your begining"
Show your talents to the world, you never can tell who is watching. Say no to smartly imposed opression, rule your world.
Wherever you are, whatever your position, stop making mother Africa weep, stop hurting her, she calls for you to make her shine. She is blessed with many gifts of nature that are free for use, stop exploiting her and let's try to make the world a better place for everyone
