I woke to the sun, its rays spilling gold across the morning, bright enough to pull me toward them before I had fully opened my eyes. There was warmth in that light, soft at first, then growing stronger the longer I stayed near it. It felt like the day was reaching out, asking me to begin. Morning has that effect on me. It makes everything seem open, as if the world has not yet decided what it will become. My mind is clean then, still holding new thoughts, still carrying ideas that feel alive before the noise of the day can touch them.

I always find myself looking up at that large golden sphere, steady in the sky, shining with a kind of calm power. It rises full of promise, as if it knows it will have its place no matter what else happens below it. Sometimes the clouds pass over it, sometimes they do not, but even when they do, the sun remains. It waits, it returns, it keeps its rhythm. There is something in that movement that feels larger than the day itself. It reminds me that light does not need to shout to be felt. It only needs to be there.
In the morning, the sun feels almost gentle. It touches everything with a kind of kindness that is hard to explain. The ground, the walls, the air itself seem softer under it. I feel myself drawn closer to that warmth because it gives me a kind of quiet comfort. It wakes something in me. It makes me want to move, to think, to begin. There is a strange honesty in that early light. It does not ask for anything. It simply arrives, and in arriving, it changes everything around it.
But I cannot stay under it forever. As the hours pass, the same rays that felt warm and welcoming begin to sharpen. The heat rises slowly at first, then all at once. What was gentle becomes intense. What was comforting becomes unbearable. I start looking for shade, for an umbrella, for any small mercy that can stand between me and the blazing sky. The sun has not changed its nature, but my body has changed the way it receives it. That is the strange thing about light. It can be both a blessing and a burden, depending on when and how it finds you.
There is a lesson in that. What we chase in the morning, we may flee from by noon. What we welcome with open arms at dawn may feel too heavy to carry later in the day. The sun does not stop shining, but we do change beneath it. We change with time, with heat, with fatigue, with the weight of living. And still, even when the rays become too strong, I cannot help but respect them. They were once the reason the day felt alive. They were once the thing I wanted most.
Then the sun begins to leave. Slowly, almost with patience, it departs from the sky and makes room for the dark. It does not fall all at once. It eases away, leaving behind a fading light that stretches across the world like a final thought. That is when evening arrives, when the loudness of the day starts to die down and everything becomes softer, quieter, more fragile. The light weakens, the shadows grow, and the world begins to prepare itself for night.
Night carries its own kind of truth. It is the part of the day many people fear, because it asks us to sit with silence and with ourselves. When east and west grow still, when the noise disappears and the sky turns deep and empty, the dark takes over. It covers the world without apology. And yet even in that darkness, something continues. Dreamers dream. The mind keeps moving. Pieces of the day drift through sleep, along with fragments of hope, memory, and whatever the future may hold. The dark does not end the story. It only changes its shape.
Nature is powerful in the way it keeps teaching without words. Every phase of the sun feels like a lesson. Morning tells us to begin. Noon teaches us limits. Evening reminds us to let go. Night shows us what remains when everything else goes quiet. The sun moves through the sky as if it is writing something across the day, and we are all standing beneath it, reading what we can. Sometimes we want more light. Sometimes we need less. Sometimes we do not understand why we are drawn to one thing and pushed away by the same thing later on. But that is life too. It changes with time, just like the day.
I live beneath the sun, and so do you. Every day it rises over us, and every day it leaves us with something to think about. Sometimes its light feels too strong, and sometimes we miss it the moment it is gone. That is the nature of being here, beneath all this brightness and all this passing time. We are shaped by what warms us and what burns us. We are marked by what we go through. And every mark has a story inside it.
Below the sun, below the rays, everything leaves a trace. The ground remembers the heat. The skin remembers the burn. The heart remembers what moved it. I wake each day with fresh ideas, and it is up to me to let them grow, to give them shape, to make them last longer than a passing morning. I want to follow the biggest star, not by chasing it blindly, but by learning from its rhythm, its patience, its rise and return. That is the blueprint I want to keep close. That is the kind of light I want
to carry forward.
Do me a favour find a blueprint and follow it.
