It happened yesterday as you can see from the image above. Somewhere in Ikeja, Lagos, Beam and MET organized a program with the title “Blockchain Decentralization and Privacy.” @agbona started the program by introducing BEAM, the token, its application and its usefulness. We had an interaction with Dylan Dewdney through skype, he talked about beam too. And that rounded up the BEAM talks; it was very well understood. Purpose of the meetup was to talk about the blogging platforms we have, then
@pangoli advanced to the stage to lecture us on Steemit.
Pangoli giving the lecture.
He explained everything about Steemit, how it all started, the dapps and its application and provided an avenue for newbies to register. We had @slau with us too who talked about the exchange market and crypto trading.
After discussing Steemit, we had a chat with @samest and
@dante31. It was anchored by
@jotmax; they were practically in an hot seat. The first question the anchor asked was which platform is better. Samest made us know they are all different platforms and shouldn’t be compared together.
@marshalllife was present too, he also clarified the difference between both platforms. A good knowledge about Whaleshares was brought to us.

I haven’t introduced the coordinator, have I? @sushie made sure the event was well organized.
The meetup was a success and I’ll be glad to attend any other one in the future. A big shout out to those present.
