Fisherman
A pesar de que las aguas de la Bahía de La Habana son famosas por sus altos niveles de contaminación, a los habaneros les encanta ir de pesca en sus alrededores, o sentarse en el muro del malecón a esperar la llegada de algún pez que, seguro, termina prefiriendo el anzuelo a morir de hambre en las aguas empobrecidas con el petróleo de los barcos.
Although the waters of the Bay of Havana are famous for their high levels of pollution, Habaneros love to go fishing in their surroundings, or sit on the wall of the boardwalk to wait for the arrival of some fish that, for sure , ends up preferring the hook to starving in the impoverished waters with the oil from the boats.
