One monk after visiting every part of the world comes to India. He becomes a guest of small kingdom.
The king asks that monk ' I want to meet god, can we meet god?’
The king asks this question to every monk, but every monk teaches him some other knowledge and tell him some other myth, but the king again say he wants to meet the god. Can you help me in meeting god? He asks the same question to this monk also.
Monk- you want to meet him now or later?
The king got little shocked, he is thinking that monk is mad? He heard something else?.
King- I don't want to meet a person, I want to meet the real god.
Monk- yes, I know please don't get shocked. My work is to arrange a meeting with god. I roam here and there so that I can find people, who want to meet god. King was in tension, he asked can I meet him alone, or with family?
Monk- if you want to meet god you should meet him alone, no other person is allowed, no friends, no family, no relatives.
King- ok ' I think about it and will let you know tomorrow'
Monk- ' you think about this later, first of all you should know the eligibility criteria for meeting god. You fit in that category or not to meet the god'.
King- what is the eligibility criteria for meeting god?
Monk- take a small paper and write who you are, what you do, so that I can forward it to god. Then God will decide the date and time for the meeting.
King- I also do the same thing, when I want to meet some.
King writes his name and address on paper, which kingdom he lives, etc.
Monk said ' this address is wrong and the name also is wrong, I have to do verification of you'.
King- what are you saying? I have doubt regarding you before only, when you say you can arrange a meeting with god. ‘You can ask any person of this kingdom, who I am? This is my kingdom.
Monk- I don't want to ask someone, I will ask you. Suppose if I change your name then you will also change? Or your parents change your name, you will change.
King- changing name don't affect me, and I am the king, and I will be the king.
Monk- ok, changing name does not affect you, then why are you saying that this name is yours, suppose today you are king but tomorrow you will be beggar, then also you will change?
King- if I will be beggar, I will be "me" only I don't have money and kingdom now, but I will be "me" I will not change.
Monk- so don't write you are king on paper, you have written your age also, when you get old you will be changed?
King- no, I will not change, I will be "me" at that time also. Time passes but I will be me in past and future.
Monk- doesn’t write age also, now you don't have a relationship with your name, kingdom, your age, your body. Then who are you?
King- answers to this question, even I don't know who I am?
Monk- the person who don't know, who is he? Now want to meet the god. First you find yourself and then ask, to meet the god.
“I want to remind you one thing, when you find yourself then you will find the god."
God is inside your soul, and to meet him you don't want to go here and there just, see inside yourself. The person who knows himself, knows the truth, knows we're god is living.
"Lastly just try to find yourself, if you find yourself then you find god within yourself."
