Has Bitcoin Failed?

Just a quick post today, Saturday, since I'm planning on spending the day doing some other stuff IRL :)

I was watching the charts yesterday on Coinbase Pro, formerly known as GDAX, and I witnessed the Bitcoin price crash in real time, just like I did last time. It started with a giant red candle, a little bounce and another giant red candle. I even took a screen shot to share on Twitter. Of course all the alts fallowed suit, with the exception of "stable" coins like DAI, which actually went up. I can assume people run to stable coins during a crypto price crash.

I've always wondered how people know, and are able to, move to a stable coin so quickly when a price crash happens. It happens so suddenly, and quickly, that I can't see how anyone can respond. I wonder if some people have some kind of advance info that the rest of us don't have

Anyway, shouldn't Bitcoin actually go up instead of down? Isn't this particular type of event what Bitcoin is supposed to be for? Shouldn't the world be running to Bitcoin for value preservation at this time? Has Bitcoin failed?

Has the concept of crypto failed? 👀

Yesterday, the United States government passed a bill to print a hell of a lot of money to stimulate the economy. Shouldn't that have, well, "stimulated" things?

Another thing is this: The last time we had this crash, something happened on the following days. What the heck is going to happen in the coming days that this crash is warning us about, assuming the powers that be (and trade) know about that the rest of us don't?

Do you remember the United States senators that dumped their stock before the crash? They knew something - they were briefed ahead of time. They also briefed all their wealthy friends, who all got out before the crash. There's them, and there's the rest of us.

Hmmm 🤔
