In other side I will say it is not recession-proof looking the costs of mining cryptocurrencies are increasing, which is making it less profitable for miners. This means if economy is affected it can affect the Miners company with power supply, and this is why some are predicting a cryptocurrency bubble.
The global economy is on a downturn, but that doesn't mean you should avoid investing in cryptocurrency. In fact, it seems to be a good time to buy some. The price for cryptocurrencies is still low and many people are unaware of the opportunities it offers. This is a prime time for cryptocurrency investment because it is a way to diversify your portfolio and make money while you sleep. Now is the best time to invest in cryptocurrencies, as the value of the coins is on the rise.
But remember volatility of the market, so it is hard to tell if the value will increase or decrease later.
