POETRY
You are sad because you are sad.
It's psychic. It's the age.It's chemical.
Seeing a doctor or taking a pill,,
Hug your sadness like an eyeless doll
All you need is sleep
Well, most people are sad
Though some get over it.
Tis good to count your blessings
Make yourself feel good
Dance away your sorrows
Forget what?
Your sadness, your shadow,
Whatever was done to you
Whatever it might be
It's not worth it
My darling, when it comes to it
And the light fails and the fog rolls in
And you are trapped in your overturned body
Under a blanket or burning car
And the red flame is seeping out of you
Igniting the tarmac beside your head
The floor or the pillow
It's either we are not scared
Or we all are.
