Last year in September I had a honour to take photographs of one Fijian birthday party . It was my first event photography ever and it was really stressful for me. But I must say, I really enjoyed myself. Culture from Fiji is very interesting, I love people from there as well because they are really nice, kind and with great sense of humour.
One thing that really drew my attention was their food. It was something delicious and in many ways it reminded me Nigerian cuisine as they are using things such as plantain, yam, fish and others that I am familiar with.
My most favourite was something that is probably called Palusami which is corned beef wrapped in some green leaves. I am not really sure with name, I was really busy that day and didn't have time to ask too many questions. I am using fiji tag in hope that there are people from there on Steemit and they could possibly verify if I am right or wrong :)

Loni v zari jsem mela tu cest fotit narozeninovou party skotske komunity z Fidzi. Byla to moje vubec prvni zkusenost s event fotografii ktera nedopadla uplne nejlepe podle mych nadeji a predstav (tedy, alespon podle meho nazoru). Nicmene, prestoze jsem se nervozitou potila az na zadku, musim rict, ze jsem si celou akci dost uzila. Obyvatele Fidzi (a vubec cele Oceanie) jsou opravdy pratelsti se skvelym smyslem pro humor a zajimavou kulturou.
Cela narozeninova oslava vypadala uplne jinak nez jak to zname my. Skoro vsichni byli obleceni do tradicniho obleceni, zaznelo tam velke mnozstvi proslovu od oslavence pres rodice az po pastora a doslo i na tradicni tance.
Vzhledem k tomu, ze miluji vareni cizokrajnych jidel, tak moji pozornost samozrejme upoutala tradicni kuchyne. Jidla byla uvarena hlavne z morskych plodu, s castym pouzitim kokosoveho mleka. Celkove mi vse vice ci mene pripominalo nigerijskou kuchyni. V Nigerii se k vareni casto pouziva yam, plantain a smazene ryby, takze jsem byla zvedava jak pro me zname ingredience budou chutnat v jinem podani.
Bohuzel jsem nepochytila jmena a recepty jidel ktera se servirovala, tak se alespon pokochejte fotkami :D
