Otóż w oto serialu emitowanym w latach 1994-19997 pierwszy raz ujrzałem to właśnie auto: Buick Riviera 1973 r. Właśnie takim pojazdem jeździł jeden z głównych bohaterów.
Wygląd tego krążownika wywarł na mnie ogromne wrażenie. W latach 90-tych nie było jeszcze google ani wikipedii, żebym mógł znaleźć więcej informacji na temat tego auta.
Wyjeżdzając do USA w 2002 roku miałem nadzieję zobaczyć na żywo ten wehikuł i udało się. Z bliska wygłąda jeszcze piękniej niż na fotografiach.
Jestem fanem starej amerykańskiej motoryzcji, a zwłaszcza tej aut nazywanych Muscle Cars.
To auto produkowane w latach (1971-1973) nosiło nazwę odwróconej łodzi.
Silnik o poj. 7.5 L V8 grenerował tylko 255 KM mierzący ponad 5.674 m długości i 2.29 m szerokości.
W miescie , w którym mieszkam jest jeden taki egzlemplarz.

Do you remember the TV series "Due South"?
