I remember the first time I heard of the discovery of places like Machu Picchu, I was a child, the human mind finds it hard to believe that something so big could have been hidden, but if you live close to nature or have observed it closely you will notice that it has the ability to retake the spaces that had been taken away or that it has nearby.

In the Urbanization where I live there is a playground or rather what is left of one, it is quite deteriorated, in that area there used to be a vacant lot where the bush reigned, then it was ceded to us by the Mayor's Office and they themselves were in charge of raising the perimeter wall and building the park.

Now, while a group had the determination and the tools, at least those spaces were kept pruned, but now, since they could not do it and thanks to the rains, everything that is grass or similar has taken all the land it can.

Recently observing, I was struck by how a vine that is near what is left of some swings has taken part of the structure that supports them and the post that is in the back, I must confess that seeing it from the window of my house was one thing, but seeing it up close was another, really there is when you realize how to stop visiting spaces makes nature retake and transforms them being able to cover everything.

For example, if we stopped visiting the park and closed it, nature would retake all those spaces and it would be very likely that only some of the devices such as the slides would remain in sight, because these swings would be completely taken by the vines and the grass around them would make it more difficult to approach than they already do, in fact the up and down, which are a little further away, are almost not even seen.

If this is with something small, imagine years of abandonment of old cities like the one I mentioned, this makes me come to the conclusion that nature is simply persistent, it does not give up, it seeks to retake its own again and again. What do you think?
