Rarely do we see beasts like this in our small Eastern European town, but when you come across one, you've got to capture a couple of shots. Yesterday, I spotted this GMC Sierra Duramax parked in front of my house...

I took about 15 shots from different angles because the owner wasn't around to catch me in the act. And let me tell you, this thing is way bigger than it appears in the pictures. Americans are accustomed to such massive pickup trucks, but for us Europeans, it's quite a sight.

Now, I'm not a fan of GMC. My favorite American pickup truck is the Ford Raptor, the real deal, not the Ranger Raptor that happened to be parked next to the GMC. If I had to take it a step further, I'd say the Hennessy version of the 2020 Raptor is my absolute favorite.

But let's get back to the GMC. There's nothing particularly outstanding about it. It's got a 3.0L diesel engine with 270 HP and around 460 lb.-ft. of torque, capable of towing 9000 lb. Meh, the stats don't blow me away.

What I did like was the color and the sheer size of this beast. The only car I've ever driven that comes close in dimensions to this one is a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe. Let me tell you, that thing was insanely big for European roads—noisy, thirsty, and slower than molasses. My personal car back then, an Opel Corsa C, could outrun the Tahoe any day. And don't even get me started on its reliability.

Now, I can't speak for the reliability of American cars these days, but they sure make an imposing presence.

Anyway, I'm finally back home after being out all day. I've got a nice burn on my skin, looking like a true redneck. So, I'll catch you all tomorrow. Have a fantastic day or evening, folks!

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
