Estos dos lugares se han convertido en mis visitas obligadas cada vez que voy a la Asunción, la biblioteca porque puedo tomar en préstamo libros para disfrutarlos en casita en mi tiempo libre, y el centro de artes por la galería, ya que como saben me gusta muchísimo el arte, y en esta galería siempre están renovando las exposiciones, por lo que cada vez que voy hay algo nuevo.

A few days ago, I visited La Asunción, specifically Plaza Bolívar, and of course I took the opportunity to go to two of my favorite places, the **public library and the Omar Carreño Arts Center**. La exposición estaba compuesta por obras de artistas de diferentes estados de Venezuela, e incluso fueron realizadas en épocas diferentes, de hecho había un trabajo de 1.985, de un pintor margariteño llamado Carlos Stohr que representa el arte de la población de **La Vecindad** con sus famosas hamacas, que por cierto fue de mis favoritas.

Today, I'm going to tell you about my visit to the gallery, which I really enjoyed, as I came across an exhibition that I had never seen before. It consisted of paintings on paper using a wide variety of techniques, ranging from drawings using only graphite pencils to mixed media works using Indian ink, watercolor, and gouache. The exhibition consisted of works by artists from different states in Venezuela, and they were even created at different times. In fact, there was a work from 1985 by a painter from Margarita named Carlos Stohr that depicts the art of the town of La Vecindad with its famous hammocks, which was one of my favorites.

La verdad es que ese detalle me encantó porque pude admirar la gran habilidad de estos artistas para reproducir cada pequeño detalle, del lugar que pintaron, y algunos hasta introdujeron otros de su propia inspiración, que la verdad les dio un toque especial a su trabajo.

I really loved this detail because I was able to admire the great skill of these artists in reproducing every little detail of the place they painted, and some even introduced others of their own inspiration, which really gave their work a special touch.

Como les digo, es la primera vez que veo un trabajo de este estilo en la galería, y me encanta ver que nos traen cada día cosas diferentes para los que amamos y disfrutamos del arte, y si tú eres uno de ellos no puedes dejar de visitar el **Centro de Artes "Omar Carreño"** en la capital de nuestro estado.
