The application of contextual learning (CTL), takes place naturally in the form of learners' activities and experiences, due to contextual application, not the transfer of knowledge from educators to learners.
In accordance with the development philosophy of contextual application (CTL), namely kontruktivisme, in that it emphasizes that learning is not just memorize, but learners must construct in their own minds themselves.
In other words, learners begin with their knowledge, experience, and indexes in their daily lives, what they have, find, be associated with the concept of material that is in the process of learning in the room (class), then they implement it into daily life - their day.
Educator (a teacher), will manage the entire learning process by creating conditions. so learners can be motivated to learn.
In contextual appli- cation (CTL), demands more active learners. because contextual application is a learning strategy that emphasizes the full involvement of learners, to gain or find the material to be learned, and learners are able to relate the real life situation, thereby, encouraging learners to apply it to life everyday.
