Yep, it's hot!!!!
This weather we've been having is fantastic, and as good as you'd see in parts of Spain or France.
One thing I notice about this weather is you are not in the mood for big hot dinners, but rather something light and cooler, so a salad is just perfect. I made a great one today for my lunch but of course I forgot to take a photo, but not to worry here's one from a few weeks back, today's was similar, but with different cheeses, dressing and it had a couple of hardboiled eggs.
It's funny how every time I have a salad for my lunch or dinner, I'm generally well happy with it and think I should have it more often, but then rarely do!
I was rared on big hearty dinners growing up, so salads have always gotten bad press and a big juicy Steak or Fish and chips or Lamb shank often wins out, but the humble salad should not be sniffed at, especially on a hot Summer's day.
I hope that you're not melting wherever you are and if you're about to go to sleep like me you have decent aircon or a trusty fan!
