Beer Saturday
I was checking out other people's Beer Saturday posts and there was one from a guy in Edinburgh drinking Heineken and the mention of Scotland made me think of Scotland's best beer (in my opinion)
So I made it my business to find some Hazy Jane beers for this week's post. It's not the first time I've written about Hazy Jane, so I won't repeat myself again. Rather I'll share some photos and a joke.
Seeing as it's called Brewdog, I figured I'd have to get the seal of approval from our own dog Coco.
Yep, she approves and gave it the Coco sniff of approval.
Beer and Mexican Food
My wife rustled up some nice Mexican food for dinner and it went perfectly with the Hazy Jane and I'll enjoy a few more with the Champions League final shortly. Liverpool vs Real could well be a thriller of a match and the way Real have come back from the dead a few times this year, I kind of feel their name is on the trophy. I'll predict a draw after 90 minutes and Real to lift the cup.
Joke Time
So there was this fella on his way to Dublin Zoo with a cargo of monkeys. He breaks down on the M50 on the way into Dublin.
He flags down a van, which is being driven by Dave, a lad he half knows.
“I’ll give you €100 to take these monkeys to Dublin Zoo for me” he says to Dave.
Dave says “That's not a problem, I'll look after it for ya”, so they load up the monkeys into Dave's van and off he goes.
A little while later, he sees Dave driving back across the M50 him in the opposite direction so he waves him down and sees that the monkeys are all still in the van.
“Arah Christ, I gave you €100 to take those monkeys to the Zoo, what the hell are you doing now??”
Dave replies “I did take them to the zoo, but I still have €30 left, so now we're off to the cinema now...."
