A few home poured Guinness

Another week, another Beer Saturday.

I don't know about you guys, but for me, time is trucking by quicker than ever.

Month after month after month disappearing in the rearview mirror.

This is the self pour method that I use and I must admit it comes out pretty damn good. It's not quite pub quality, but it's not far off.

The method is straight forward. Grab a trusty pint glass and your can of Guinness.

Tip the can straight into the glass as shown

Let it settle a little bit and then gently start to raise the glass.

Give it some time to settle.

Get ready to enjoy the perfect pint.

Ah it's the simple things in life folks isn't it. A few pints of the black stuff always go down well.

To finish, with some Large Language Model help, we have a poem about Guinness and our excellent little blockchain...

🍀đŸș Guinness & the Blockchain Craic đŸș🍀

In a snug little pub on a wet Dublin night,
With rain tappin’ tunes in the soft yellow light,
Sat Mick with a pint and a head like a cloud,
Sayin’, “Lads, this Guinness would make ya proud.”

Seán says, “Fair play, but what’s on your phone?”
Mick grins, “I’m makin’ a fortune
 from home!
It’s called the Hive, sure it’s all on the chain
Not bees in a box, but coins for your brain!”

“Coins?” says Seán, “Ah would ya go ‘way,
You can’t buy a chipper with apps, can ya, hey?”
Mick takes a sip, wipes foam off his nose,
“Watch this now, lad
 and try not to doze.”

“I click a few buttons, the numbers all dance,
Next thing I know I’m up half a chance,
No shovel, no fields, no back gettin’ broke
Just Wi-Fi, a laptop, and the odd bit of joke!”

The barman leans over, “If that’s truly the case,
You’ll be buyin’ the next round for the place.”
Mick checks his phone, eyes start to shine
“By Jaysus, that pint is officially mine!”

So here’s to the black stuff, smooth as can be,
And magic internet money nobody can see,
One fills your belly, one fills your stash
Together they’re mighty for spendin’ your cash.

And if it all crashes? Sure what’s the harm—
You’ve still got your pint and the pub’s warm charm,
For whether it’s blockchain or stout in your glass
It’s the craic that matters
 and that’ll always last. đŸ»

Well, that's it.

Until next time Beer Saturdayorians...

Oh by the way...

Where were you?

What was the drink of choice?
