In this opportunity, I want to tell you about a small experience that I lived before the pandemic began.

En esta oportunidad, quiero contarles una pequeña experiencia que viví antes de comenzar la pandemia.

The boys had entered the school holidays, and the custom is that we meet some relatives, we went to the beach, the pool or somewhere where we could share and cool off from the intense heat of summer, but this time our plans changed for a reason from COVID-19, we all stayed at home, watching news and enduring the heat, the good thing is that some family members were already with us, so we could talk, but the younger ones don't settle for that, they wanted a pool, so who decided to make one.

Los chicos habían entrado en las vacaciones escolares, y la costumbre es que nos reunamos algunos familiares, íbamos a la playa, a la piscina o algún sitio donde pudiéramos compartir y refrescarnos del calor intenso del verano, pero en esta ocasión nuestros planes cambiaron por motivo del COVID-19, todos nos quedamos en casa, viendo noticias y soportando el calor, lo bueno es que algunos familiares ya estaban con nosotros, así que podríamos platicar, pero los más jóvenes no se conforman con eso, ellos querían una piscina, así que decidieron fabricar una.

At home we have a small upholstered furniture factory, these furniture are first made with wooden structures, then they are lined with foam rubber and then the upholstery fabric is placed, the boys took wood with which we made the furniture and made a structure Using staples and nails to join them, when this structure was fixed and strong, they lined it with cardboard, they took plastic bags and attached them with adhesive tape and thus made an excellent tank, where they had to cool off from the intense heat.

En casa tenemos una pequeña fábrica de muebles tapizados, estos muebles se fabrican primero con estructuras de madera, luego se forran con goma espuma y después se le coloca tela de tapicería, los chicos tomaron maderas con las que fabricamos los muebles e hicieron una estructura, utilizando grapas y clavos para unirlas, cuando esta estructura quedó fija y fuerte, la forraron de cartón, tomaron bolsas plásticas y las unieron con cinta adhesiva y así hicieron un excelente tanque, donde podían refrescarse del intenso calor.

I did not think it would work, I thought that the force of the water would damage it or that the pressure of the water would come out somewhere, but to the surprise of many, it worked, the idea was from the boys, so they were the first to enjoy, but After a while some adults also entered and so we were enjoying this small pool throughout the summer, with the arrival of winter we saved this structure. 😊

No creí que funcionará, pensé que la fuerza del agua lo dañaría o que saldría la presión del agua por algún sitio, pero para la sorpresa de muchos, funcionó, la idea fue de los chicos, así que ellos fueron los primeros en disfrutar, pero al rato algunos adultos también entraron y así estuvimos disfrutando de esta pequeña piscina durante todo el verano, con la llegada del invierno guardamos esta estructura. 😊
