There is not much of winter on a Caribbean island. The cold fronts that come down from the pole across North America to the island stay for two or three nights and then disappear, so tropical temperatures return. We take out our coats at the slightest drop in thermometers because the opportunity will be short. This is how my daughter took her jacket off one winter night and had me assemble my black backdrop to take some pictures of her. I took advantage and tried some light schemes. In some cases, a single one in several positions, in other cases, a main one and another one as fill. Photography is light and shadows.
No hay mucho de invierno en una isla caribeña. Los frentes fríos que bajan desde el polo por toda Norteamérica hasta la isla se quedan por dos o tres noches y luego vuelven las temperaturas frescas y tropicales. Sacamos nuestros abrigos al menor bajón en los termómetros porque la oportunidad será breve. Así es como mi hija sacó su chaqueta una noche de invierno y me hizo montar mi tela negra para hacerle algunas fotos. Aproveché y probé algunos esquemas de luces. En algunos casos una sola en varias posiciones, en otros casos, una principal y otra de recorte. La fotografía es luz y sombras.
