I chased this peculiar jellyfish around the edge of the dock. I was no longer going to use the camera, the framing I was looking for required an angle close to the water, with a latent risk that the waves would wet my equipment. At that time I used my Samsung S7 Edge, which allowed it to be submerged without major risks. I lay down on the eroded edge and waited for the current to carry my model towards the entrance of the tourist port. The sun was almost languishing behind the clouds, until I finally got my dream photo: the sunset trapped in the gas bag of this wonderful and deadly creature.
Perseguí esta peculiar medusa por todo el borde de la dársena. Ya no iba a usar la cámara, el encuadre que buscaba exijía un ángulo pegado al agua, con riesgo latente que las olas me mojaran el equipo. Usé en aquél entonces mi Samsung S7 Edge, que le permitía sumergirse sin mayores riesgos. Me acosté en el erosionado borde y esperé a que la corriente arrastrase mi modelo hacia la entrada del puerto turístico. Ya casi el sol languidecía detrás de las nubes, hasta que por fin obtuve mi foto soñada: el atardecer atrapado en la bolsa de gas de esta maravillosa y mortal criatura.
