Week 33, 2023: Black and white minimalism / Minimalismo en blanco y negro
This Siamese cat is the owner of my mother's house. He stopped to rest from the stifling heat at the threshold of one of the doors of his house. I did a lot of editing to remove all the shadows and highlight different details in the cat image, but I'm glad that the path I took didn't change anything from my initial idea to the final result.
Este gato siamés es el dueño de la casa de mi madre. Se detuvo a descansar del calor sofocante en el umbral de una de las puertas de su casa. Edité mucho para eliminar todas las sombras y resaltar detalles distintos de la imagen del gato, pero me alegro de que el camino que tomé no cambió nada desde mi idea inicial hasta el resultado final.
Week 34, 2023: Upside down / Al revés

Esta es Dayana. Nos dirigimos hacia la costa en un día con fuertes lluvias amenazando detrás de nosotros. La luz natural no me dejó capturar mucho contraste en las nubes del fondo, así que retoqué un poco para darle más dramatismo. Cloné distracciones e invertí la imagen verticalmente. Parece la Mujer Maravilla!

I gave the original image to a friend who is starting to learn Photoshop. He says he used a pointillist effect towards the edges of the image. What do you think of the effect?
Le di la imagen original a una amistad que está empezando a aprender Photoshop. Dice que usó un efeco puntillista hacia los bordes de la imagen. Qué les parece el efecto?
Week 36, 2023: Triangular composition / Composición triangular
My daughter against a white cloth that served as a diffuser for two flashes behind. Then in editing I eliminated everything that didn't interest me and left only her silhouette and the suggested triangular shape.
Mi hija contra una tela blanca que sirvió de difusor para dos flashes detrás. Luego en el montaje eliminé todo lo que no me interesaba y dejé solo su silueta y la forma triangular sugerida.
Some photos correspond better than others to each challenge posed...I will embrace imperfection!
Algunas fotos corresponden mejor que otras a cada reto planteado...abrazaré la imperfección!
