We were at El Chivo beach, doing one of our monthly meeting with photographers and models at Safari Habana, and a young man came to me to introduce me her daughter, Mabely, and asked me for a few shots. At first she was very shy, the usual behavior when facing the unknown photographer, but when I asked her a few questions about her favorite things, she told me she was a dancer. From that moment and on, we established the connection needed to gain confidence. Sadly that day I couldn't get much of dance movements, but her face, her eyes and her expression made the few shots worth it.
Estábamos en la playa El Chivo, durante uno de nuestros encuentros mensuales entre fotógrafos y modelos de Safari Habana, cuando se me acercó un joven para presentarme a su hija Mabely y pedirme que le hiciera algunas fotos. Al principio fue muy tímida, lo normal cuando se enfrenta al fotógrafo desconocido, pero cuando le pregunté acerca de sus cosas preferidas, me dijo que era bailarina. Desde ahí establecimos la conexión necesaria para ir ganando confianza. Desafortunadamente ese día no saqué muchas poses de danza, pero el rostro y los ojos de esta jovencita hicieron que las pocas fotos realizadas valieran la pena.
