My daughter received a leather jacket as part of some gifts. It is not very common in the Caribbean to have a climate so cold that justifies the use of a piece with these characteristics, but taking advantage of a cool February night we went out to the patio, I spread out my black backdrop as a background and used a second flash as a slave for the first time, trying to fill in some shots, sometimes with a yellow gel on it. Anyone would think that it was a studio session, but since it was in our backyard, you can say that we had a ceiling full of stars as witnesses. I tried several positions of light, the first in this series was looking for the Rembrandt scheme, one of the most useful and effective techniques in the portrait style. Hope you like!
Mi hija recibió una chaqueta de cuero como parte de unos regalos. No es muy común en el caribe tener un clima tan frío que justifique el uso de una pieza con esas características, pero aprovechando una noche fresca de febrero salimos al patio, tendí mi tela negra como fondo y usé por primera vez un segundo flash como esclavo para rellenar algunas tomas, a veces también le puse un gel amarillo. Cualquiera puede pensar que fue una sesión de estudio, pero como fue en nuestro patio trasero, se puede decir que tuvimos un techo repleto de estrellas como testigos. Probé varias posiciones de la luz, la primera de esta serie fue buscando el esquema Rembrandt, una de las técnicas más socorridas y efectivas en el estilo de retrato. Espero que les guste!
