I went to the coast taking advantage of the waves and breaking rocks, to take some long exposure shots and capture the wake of the foam between the sharp edges that characterize this part of the shore. Tripod, ND filters and camera, everything ready, when a bustling group of girls who were walking through this place appears. Of all those who came, this girl separated from the group and came to stand dangerously close to the water, taking into account the ruggedness of the place, the wind and the instability of the terrain. She stopped for a few moments to call some of her friends to follow her in her brave steps, but apparently they were all more interested in filming her on her adventure than in taking the risk as well. At that moment I was photographing towards the opposite side, but seeing her standing there waving her arms to balance herself - or dancing, I don't know - I turned my camera and took these photos of her against the sky and the setting sun. It doesn't matter that her movements were blurred, the drama of the moment seemed ideal to me and I took advantage of the opportunity.
Fui a la costa aprovechando las olas y las rocas rompientes, para hacer algunas tomas de larga exposición y capturar la estela de la espuma entre las filosas aristas que caracterizan esta parte de la orilla. Trípode, filtros ND y cámara, todo dispuesto, cuando aparece un bullicioso grupo de chicas que caminaban por este lugar. De todas las que venían, esta muchacha se separó del grupo y vino a pararse peligrosamente cerca del agua, teniendo en cuenta lo rugoso del lugar, el viento y la inestabilidad del terreno. Ella se detuvo por unos instantes a llamar a alguna de sus amigas para que le siguieran en sus valientes pasos, pero al parecer todas estaban interesadas mejor en filmarla a ella en su aventura que en arriesgarse también. Yo en ese momento estaba fotografiando hacia el lado opuesto, pero al verla a ella allí parada agitando sus brazos para equilibrarse -o bailando, no sé- giré mi cámara y le hice estas fotos contra el cielo y el sol atardeciendo. No importa que quedase borrosa en sus movimientos, el dramatismo del momento me pareció ideal y tomé ventaja de esta oportunidad.
