When the city lends itself to reflection photography [Esp/Eng].

Como están, mis amigos seguidores de esta maravillosa ¨ReflectionHuntersCommunity¨: Creo que todos saben que me encantan los fines de semana, ya que es cuando participamos y acompañamos a nuestra amiga @olgavita en su maravillosa iniciativa ¨ReflectionHuntersContest¨:  Hacer fotografías de reflejos es todo un arte, ya que hay que tener presente muchas cosas al momento de hacer o planificar la toma; otra cosa a considerar es el lugar, y en lo particular, lo que más me apasiona es hacer las fotografías en la ribera.

How are you, my friends and followers of this wonderful ¨ReflectionHuntersCommunity¨: I think you all know that I love weekends, since that's when we participate and support our friend @olgavita in her wonderful initiative ¨ReflectionHuntersContest¨:  Taking reflection photographs is quite an art, since you have to keep many things in mind when taking or planning the shot; Another thing to consider is the location, and personally, what I'm most passionate about is taking photographs on the riverbank.

Soy de esas personas que ama la naturaleza; todo lo que tiene que ver con ella me atrae, en especial cuando estoy frente a la vida silvestre. Las aves son de esos objetivos que me encanta retratar, dado que hay que tener mucha rapidez para fotografiarlos; ellos son impredecibles y no sabes cuándo van a levantar el vuelo.

I'm one of those people who loves nature; everything related to it attracts me, especially when I'm in front of wildlife. Birds are among the subjects I love to photograph, since you have to be very quick to get your shot; they're unpredictable and you never know when they're going to take flight.

Esta semana os propusimos que la cacería la haríamos en un parque de la ciudad y en los reflejos en la ribera. Como saben, la superficie del agua es ideal para hacer tomas de reflejos, pero hay algunas variantes que considerar, como la posición y la distancia; no en todas las tomas puedes ver un reflejo. Es lo que sucedió al momento de hacer las fotografías a la preciosa ave.

This week we suggested that we do the hunt in a city park and capture reflections on the riverbank. As you know, the water's surface is ideal for taking reflection shots, but there are some variables to consider, such as position and distance; you can't see a reflection in every shot. This is what happened when I took the photos of the beautiful bird.

La verdad es que en el microcentro hay muchas especies de aves, pero no todas están en la orilla del río, y cuando ellas se acercan al agua, es una oportunidad para fotografiarlas con el agua del río detrás. Otra cosa que me gusta de los fines de semana es que las personas son más propensas a hacer sus actividades en el cauce del río.

The truth is that there are many species of birds in the city center, but not all of them are on the riverbank, and when they approach the water, it's an opportunity to photograph them with the river in the background. Another thing I like about weekends is that people are more likely to do their activities in the riverbed.

Esta semana ha sido realmente genial, ya que con nuestra "cámara" :  pudimos fotografiar aves en la costa del río, preciosas embarcaciones deportivas, motos acuáticas y personas nadando en las profundidades. Si bien es verdad que me encontraron las tomas que hemos hecho, la última toma del reflejo salió preciosa.

This week has been really great, because with our "cámara" :  We were able to photograph birds on the riverbank, beautiful sports boats, jet skis, and people swimming in the depths. While it's true that some of the shots we took were found, the last shot of the reflection turned out beautifully.
