In the challenges of life, boys evolve to be men. Men that will always be on their feet of service. Men that have a heart that still remembers how they started. Amongst these men is one man, a man of iron fist which isn’t for fighting but for the protection of many. A man whose sense of humor is more apparent like that of the sense of smell of a dog. Come let me tell you who he is.
He is a doctor. A doctor of not only medicine but a doctor of hearts. A Doctor is only of hearts but a doctor of emotions. A doctor whose care is like that of a breastfeeding mother. A doctor who stands in as everyone one’s father. A doctor who adds up to the hope we have as a generation. A doctor who doesn’t only live for himself but serves as a hope and a beacon of light for all. A doctor whose light is like the moon. He draws it from other people but still uses it to Britten, everyone, because he knows how it feels to be in the dark. This is a doctor our generation is blessed to have. He is a Fiter. A Fiter is someone who repairs cars and motors. But with this Fiter, the parts, and machines he cares to fix is humans. The emotions of humans, the worries of humans, and whatever he sees that some go well with humans he tries to fix that. I don’t call him Fiter because he might have been a mechanic growing up but I call him Fiter because he is an engineer who fixes the worries of humans. It’s a noble title Let’s say he is the first of his kind being the Fiter of humanity.
He is a doctor and a Fiter. Now where does this leave us? He is a brother I find myself in. A name that he has is that of a nobleman and a great man who leads me in my birth line. He bears a name that the best of men in Islam of this generation holds. Some might know him to be Saeed but locally called Seidu. A great name that runs through everyone that bares it. He is that compassionate and a fitter of his name. A name that suits its kind. He is my brother Seidu. The one I can find myself in.
Now you know, Dr. Seidu Fiter is the man. A man of fewer words but more action. A man whose smile is contagious. A man whose face radiates always because the smile never fades on his face. A leader who learns from the best. A caretaker who stood up to be that for the best of this generation. A man whose day will always be blessed as he will always make people blessed in the name of Allah. Dr. Seidu Fiter, not only is he a man who cares, he is a symbol of hope that adds up to the northern light. A man who holds a great position in restoring hope to the northern people. A man whose life is hope for the growing child. His life will tell you, “Until Jannah (funeral prayer) is said unto you, never lose hope in the lord that you are destined to do great things.” He is the man that gives us hope. Hope for the future. A leader for this generation. Dr. Seidu Fiter. The man of the principle of hope.
You are a father. a father to nations. A father to generations. Never leave us because it’s through your blessings and guidance we will also grow. You have been good and you know you will keep being good. You seek the best not for yourself but for the secret for humanity to remain a secret. You seek greatness not for yourself but for the secret of humanity to remain in safe hands. You seek leadership not because of the glory but for you to be of service to the people of humanity. You are an example we will follow, a school we will learn, and an institution we will build. Keep being that star that brightens us all.
